Software/Integration Developer [Power Apps]
Description
We are looking an Integration Developer (.NET + JavaScript) to join an established distributed development team. The customer is a RegTech company providing cloud-based compliance solutions to financial institutions worldwide. They are developing a Microsoft Power Platform-based product that supports AML, KYC, and financial crime prevention processes. The team currently includes a team lead, Power Apps developers, backend .NET developers, and QA engineers.
This role requires more than basic low-code development. The customer is looking for a technically strong software engineer who understands the underlying platform, integrations, architecture, plugins, and system limitations. The developer should be able to take ownership, understand complex business logic, and contribute to product and requirement discussions.
Candidates with limited commercial Power Apps experience may also be considered if they have a strong .NET and JavaScript background, understand Power Platform concepts, and can quickly learn Power Apps development and plugins
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience;
- Strong knowledge of .NET / .NET Core and C#;
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript;
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform;
- Experience with Power Apps customizations;
- Experience developing plugins, Custom Workflow Activities, scripts, and other platform extensions;
- Experience with Power Automate and cloud flows;
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS;
- Understanding of Power Platform architecture, integrations, platform limitations, and development best practices;
- Understanding of unit testing and the software development lifecycle;
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned functionality;
- Advanced level of English.
Responsibilities:
Among other things, your tasks would involve:
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues across teams;
- Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code;
- Ensure software stability and reliability;
- Analyze and resolve bugs and errors found;
- Write comprehensible documentation for developed software;
- Recommend improvements in software;
- Identify points of poor efficiency and performance within our solutions;
- Researching and evaluating new tools, frameworks, and testing technologies;
- Staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies;
- Applying strong organizational skills to manage tasks and priorities effectively;
- Experience with Power BI and reporting solutions
Nice to have:
- Experience working with Word templates within the Microsoft ecosystem;
- Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based environments;
- Previous experience in FinTech, RegTech, AML, KYC, banking, or another regulated industry;
- Experience working with sensitive or private customer data;
- Experience contributing to business analysis or requirements definition;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
