Senior Flutter Developer

SharpMinds is looking for a talented, ambitious Senior Flutter Developer to join us! With your expertise and experience, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge software solutions for our customer.
About the client:
Our customer specializes in advanced software solutions for pig farming and agricultural innovations. The current team of 4 developers (2 full-stack, 1 backend, 1 intern) works on an AMS system, enabling farmers, researchers, and processors to optimize the lifecycle of individual pigs using connected devices such as Bluetooth clips, scales, and readers.
The new developer will work on an exciting Proof of Concept (PoC) project for the Dutch government. The project aims to digitalize the current paper-based transportation registration system, building a multiplatform application from scratch using Flutter. This project aligns with the client’s broader vision of revolutionizing agricultural processes through digital solutions.
While the focus will initially be on the PoC, experience in Kotlin or Ruby on Rails is a big plus, as the developer may eventually join the main team.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Flutter and building cross-platform applications;
- Proficient in mobile development, including a solid understanding of Dart;
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations;
- Knowledge of Android (Kotlin) or backend technologies like Ruby on Rails is a plus;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks;
- Fluent English for smooth communication;
- Willingness to travel for onboarding and occasional business trips.
