About the role:
As a Senior Full-Stack PHP Developer, you’ll play a vital role in the development and enhancement of our online marketplaces, which facilitate millions of transactions annually. You’ll join a stream-aligned team focused on creating platforms that enable businesses and consumers in the home improvement and moving industry to connect online.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate and innovate: work closely with your team to develop new features and enhancements for the platform, introducing cutting-edge technical solutions to address complex needs;
- Support stream aligned teams: Build the foundation for our platform and teams to develop experiments and new features;
- Develop front-end and back-end solutions: Contribute to both the front-end and back-end aspects of our applications, ensuring seamless integration and performance;
- Innovate and scale: Introduce smart technical solutions to meet complex needs and ensure they can scale efficiently;
- Maintain quality: Improve code quality, write automated tests, and review code from colleagues as part of the QA process.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a full-stack developer;
- Possesses excellent programming skills;
- Has a solid understanding of PHP (8.3), SQL, message queues, and modern frameworks like Symfony (7) and Angular (17);
- Understands event-based systems;
- A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
- Has experience with Docker and containerization;
- Has experience using CI/CD pipelines;
- Has experience with the basics of Google Cloud Platform;
- Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written).
