Backend Software Engineer
Description:
We are looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our team in Portugal.
We are seeking a (Senior) Backend Engineer who:
- Has extensive experience with modern Java (8+; preferably 17/21/25);
- Thinks in models, abstractions, and systems;
- Enjoys translating complex domain logic into clean software design;
- Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership; Understands backend architecture and data modeling deeply;
- Is comfortable in an international English-speaking environment.
Strong plus if you have:
- Experience with rule engines or DSLs;
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, CAD, or product configuration systems; Experience with Kubernetes / Azure;
- Experience designing long-living enterprise systems.

- Java 21;
- Tomcat;
- MySQL;
- Azure (AKS – Kubernetes);
- GitHub CI/CD pipelines;
- Custom Java-like DSL for product modeling.
