SharpMinds is looking for a skilled Middle/Senior Full-Stack Developer to join us! With your expertise and experience, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge software solutions for our customer.
About the client:
Our customer specializes in advanced software solutions for pig farming and agricultural innovations. The current team of 4 developers (2 full-stack, 1 backend, 1 intern) works on an AMS system, enabling farmers, researchers, and processors to optimize the lifecycle of individual pigs using connected devices such as Bluetooth clips, scales, and readers.
The new Middle/Senior Full-Stack Developer (Kotlin / Ruby on Rails) will initially focus on the backend (Ruby on Rails) of a Proof of Concept (PoC) project for the Dutch government. The project aims to digitalize the current paper-based transportation registration system. After completing the PoC, the developer will transition to working on the main application as a full-stack developer. We’re not too concerned about the exact syntax you know, as long as you’re open to learning how we do things in our codebase.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in backend development with Ruby on Rails;
- Experience of working as a full-stack developer;
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks;
- Fluent English for smooth communication;
- Willingness to travel for onboarding and occasional business trips.
